SpeedTypes

SpeedTypes, also called Speed Charts, define the correct combinations of department or project, fund code, and program code chartfields. When you enter a SpeedType in a SpeedType or Speed Chart field, the department or project, fund code, and program code will default automatically, saving you the time it would require to memorize the possible combinations. The name of the SpeedType is either the project or the department value.

SpeedTypes (or Speed Charts) can be used for requisitions, purchase orders, vouchers, and journal entries.
