Departmental Authorization List (DAL) Launch
Effective February 1st, 2006 Finance and Accounting launched the enhanced Department Authorization List (DAL). The enhancements include a move to a fully online system, integrated with UCF Financials, the elimination of several paper forms, and the addition of an Ethics Certification component. Combined, the changes serve to move the university towards strengthened financial oversight, in accordance with university policy number 3-207 Departmental Authorization Lists.
Finance and Accounting has maintained the DAL based upon information provided by colleges and departments; nevertheless, Finance and Accounting respectfully requests that departmental Responsible Fiscal Officers (RFOs) review and update their DAL information by February 28th, 2006.
In addition the new Ethics Certification form, required from all university employees who receives any DAL authorization code other than Financials Security Inquiry (FSI), is available at www.fa.ucf.edu/forms/forms.cfm. Click the "Others" link and use form number 41-566B to complete this requirement. Please fax completed forms to 407-882-1211 by February 28th, 2006.
